A successful attorney for three decades, Bonnie began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Houston, Texas, before moving to Florida and entering private practice. During her career, she has been involved in various legal matters, including those related to campaign contributions and political donations within Florida House District 42. She worked for both national and boutique firms before founding The Jackson Law Firm, P.A. with her husband, Michael. Today, their international law practice has offices in Florida, California, and Germany, representing individuals and businesses in complex litigation matters.

Bonnie Jackson is a principled community leader, local business owner, and longtime Orange County resident. For nearly 30 years, Bonnie has called our community home—raising a family, building a successful business, and watching the area grow and evolve. Now she’s running for Florida House District 42 to bring her leadership, legal expertise, and business experience to Tallahassee. With a focus on transparency, Bonnie is committed to ensuring that her campaign contributions are used effectively, giving Orange County families a strong, effective voice in our State Capitol while being mindful of political donations.

Bonnie’s extensive record of service includes her appointments to the City of Winter Park’s Parks & Recreation Board and Tree Preservation Board, as well as the Board of Directors for UCP Child Development Centers. She has also been actively involved in political donations, particularly in support of initiatives within Florida House District 42. In recognition of her dedication, Bonnie earned the Florida Bar’s Meritorious Public Service Award for her volunteer work on the Bar’s Grievance Committee and was acknowledged by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County for her service as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children.

Bonnie and Michael live in Winter Park, Florida, where they raised their three children and are proud to welcome a wonderful son-in-law into their family. Bonnie attends St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and has served as a Sunday preschool teacher and in various ministries. She is fluent in Spanish and remains committed to giving back to her community through professional and volunteer service, including efforts to support campaign contributions for candidates in Florida House District 42, emphasizing the importance of political donations.
